How To Achieve Perfect Soil Tillage?

Perfect and ideal soil preparation can be achieved with the help of best farm tillage equipment. Every producer pay close attention on soil preparation because it directly related to profit. To the High class and healthy soil is the foundation for successful farm control. By using most suitable soil tillage methods, farmers can ensure a well-prepared soil that will manage grasses, reuse plant nutrients, produce a soft mass for sowing, and a proper surface for seeds.

In the process of developing the soil for planting crops, soil tillage directly influences the final yield and that’s why it requires to be carried out in the best way.

During the crop production method, producers perform different types of soil tillage work to achieve the best stage of soil for planting and sowing work. Here are some main ones.

  • Digging or mole seepage - This is for poorly managed tillage practice; essentially to solve rising water and soil porosity problem
  • Ploughing- Ploughing work can be classified into 2 catg. very shallow, shallow and pre-sowing ploughing, this method is the base of soil tillage; it improves soil microbiological activity, destroys already emerged weeds and prevents losses of moisture from the soil by evaporation.
  • Disking- This plays a huge role in developing the soil for sowing; disking breaks up big clods and outside crust, thereby improving soil granulation and surface uniformity.
  • Harrowing- This creates a soft layer for establishing plants thus protecting the soil surface from speedy drying and improving plant nutrient availability.
  • Rolling- The final soil tillage system to create smooth and firm seedbed and press the seeds into the soil for quicker germination.

Not all tillage systems are included in one crop cycle. All turn on the type of crop generation and the crop itself, as fine as on the phase of the crop circle. In other words, previous crop sowing, a producer will perform big tillage applications in order to release the soil and make it for crop growth. While, after the product germination or during its maturity, more moderate tillage applications will provide better soil production and hence faster crop growth.

Still, that doesn’t mean that all farm systems need to be done during a single crop generation cycle. A producer chooses which tillage practices and agricultural machinery to add in his farming and that way determines his own path to success.
